Asena's Limerick Poem

Part of this term for writing we have been working on writing our own Limerick Poems. It's a lot harder than you think. Listen as Asena has worked hard. If you're not sure what a limerick poem is click here for an explanation.

Limerick Poems have 5 lines and are meant to be silly/ funny
The first, second and fifth line rhyme and they have 8-9 syllables
The third and fourth line rhyme and they have 5-6 syllables
Give it a go and leave us a comment.

Asena! Its not easy at all creating a Limerick our class tried last term and yours was a lot better than some of our Y7 students! I liked the way that everything rhymed so well and also you spoke very clearly and proudly! Well done!
